Stamford Events Calendar
I'm very excited to start a calendar feature. Clicking on the CALENDAR link (not the actual calendar) will take you to my google calendar. Please let me know if there are any interesting events coming up!
Excellent addition. I really appreciate your fresh commentary and coverage of all things Stamford. My wife and I moved here a few months ago and the adjustment has been difficult. I'm glad I stumbled upon your blog through Chowhound.
Keep me posted on what you think about Stamford. It is VERY hard to get into at first. It seems like it's a matter of finding the right people through the right events, but that's not easy. Stamford's a big place, and many people aren't connected (I only know my dog-walking neighbors), so it's hard to get momentum. I met a bunch of great people with meetup.com, and I know some nice people at my gym. And I've met four very smart friends in the Fairfield County blog circle! I think, unless you have kids in school, it takes a LOT of work, and maybe it still takes work if you do. Welcome to Stamford, and I do think it's worth the effort.
