The food was excellent indeed, we had a pizza and a Panini sandwich respectively.

But I'm not sure whether we will go back: The music was so load that one couldn't hear oneself talk, even after they turned it down a bit. And the chairs are not very comfortable either. They need to go to Europe to learn how to set up a street café . . .irenesbookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04446462699462024670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2481685117023521386.post-27170544969897751342008-05-23T10:21:00.000-04:002008-05-23T10:21:00.000-04:00Yes...I meant to mail you when I ran into this ove...Yes...I meant to mail you when I ran into this over and over yesterday;-)
They were actually doing alot of prep work at Dragonfly this week...
Dragonfly is worth checking out when its back to normal. My son and I went to see his drum teacher do a jazz gog there and the food was excellent/ decor was really fantastic, considering what it was as Playwright. They took what was there and ran with it. Its almost church-like inside. It seemed to my old head like alot of younger people showed up later on in the evening at the bar and such, but I dont go out much anymore, so I'll have to leave it to you to decide if its any good crowd-wise...
the small plates are great if a little pricey if you're making up a whole dinner with them; salads are also really tasty.
My son had a Tilapia dinner and loved it (He is 14, so this is no small accomplishment, considering the descriptions are pretty strange and wonderful.)I was very happy with a salad, sushi roll, and stealing fries from the drummer and his wife;-) But that little bit was something like $70, and we don't drink....
Check it out once the excitement dies down (maybe just drinks and appetizers)...though with so many movies here and with that place being so dramatic, I can imagine that they will get alot of location work...it may become a hangout of the stars even...who knows?

Back to the Rooster Ranch and trying to carve out time to write about the horrible goings on in the blogosphere of liberal politicos...or as we call it, blogtopia...;-)
mMelinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00041422407086478699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2481685117023521386.post-77965831014607405312008-05-23T09:03:00.000-04:002008-05-23T09:03:00.000-04:00I think it's wonderful that Jim Halpert has found ...I think it's wonderful that Jim Halpert has found his way back to the Stamford branch of Dunder Mifflin.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2481685117023521386.post-75224091663624807822008-05-23T06:46:00.000-04:002008-05-23T06:46:00.000-04:00Uh yeah, that was Manager Mom name-dropping the fi...Uh yeah, that was Manager Mom name-dropping the film writer, Dave Eggers. Not only is Manager Mom sickeningly gorgeous and nice, a great writer and a hilarious person, she went to college with the co-writer of Farlanders. Eggers is the author of A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, etc. I'm hoping MM will get me on set, too... I love her for so many reasons...

If you are not already reading MM's blog, check it out. She reminds of one of my favorite authors, Anne LaMott, and in fact, I am confident MM will have her own book one day.Stamford Talkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10145856659548079358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2481685117023521386.post-69828562560637883492008-05-23T06:26:00.000-04:002008-05-23T06:26:00.000-04:00I bet the facial hair was because of the movie par...I bet the facial hair was because of the movie part.
