A friend came over with her baby to visit today, and we ordered curry from Little Buddha: she the red with chicken, I the green with beef. I scarfed mine down while my tired baby fussed in a bouncy seat, and she managed to eat hers while her son military crawled around my living room, eating my shoes, shredding my Shape magazine, and pulling over our fireplace wood on himself.
I don't think I'll ever order that red curry, because the green transports me to another world... a world of very spicy food unlike anything else in Stamford. All I needed today was a glass of white wine, or maybe a pale ale, to go with that... but maybe that would have transported me too far!
You can't go wrong with Little Buddha for delivery; our total was 19 bucks for lunch portions. We both would have liked more rice, but you know, us new moms are trying to fit back into our pants... so that's OK.

Thanks to your previous post about Little Buddha my wife and I went a week ago for the first time. For starters we ordered the Nonya Calamari. We thought it was deliciously crispy and just the right amount of spiciness. Then my wife ordered the yellow curry and I the pineapple rice. My meal was great; I love that sweet and sour taste. While I was eating, I noticed my wife’s reaction to her meal. She was in heaven. I immediately reached out and grabbed a spoon full of her yellow curry and I was taken to that same place.
I'm looking forward to it, my half-Indian godson is coming to town and very much wants to go there.
Must...eat...this...curry!!!!!!
OMG you have really nailed it! I've had it and it is delish. Try the curried chic peas as well.
Wow! Now, I must try and have it for either lunch or dinner within this week! Thanks for all your feedback!
shame about the location. would have loved if it had been downtown? sabatiello's in still empty!
Believe the hype, people - Little Buddha is phenomenal. I had the red curry and it was perfect. The cauliflower Manchurian was delicious.
Everything on the menu sounds delicious and I'd like to try each one; I even took home a menu so I can check them off as I go!
Oh geez. Now I have to get the curry for lunch today. Good thing I got baby used to spicy food while he was in the womb!
I'm going there tonight. Has anyone tried both Lil Bhudda and Thai Chi? If they had was wondering who does the best green Curry?
We went there Saturday night, Eating out: Little Buddha, I don't know whether I can manage the curries though.
