Pumpkin Update 2: Organic Abounds

Evidently organic pumpkin is available! My friend says you can order it on Fresh Direct, and I ran across it at Whole Foods Darien yesterday. I only bought five cans, because realistically, I'll only make a few batches of pumpkin muffins. Plus, I did not want to be a pumpkin hoarder. I wouldn't do that to you guys. Happy cooking and let me know if/when/where you are finding pumpkin!

When the Pumpkin Apocalypse Zombies descend all around us, I won't send them to your door.

(It's great to have you blogging again, Talk!)

Picked up some Pumpkin Ale from 7-11 today on my way home from work. :) You made me thirsty.

OK, I thought it was just me and the lame stores I was shopping in. I had no idea the pumpkin shortage was A Thing. Yikes!

Yikes. I love pumpkin, even if I don't cook/bake a lot with it. Thanks for all these updates.

I found the larger cans of Libby's at Target yesterday. I didn't buy them because I'd already stocked up on the organic stuff at Whole Foods. It's useful to note that Whole Foods (at least the one in White Plains) stocked the pumpkin in two different areas. IIRC, it was with both the baking goods and the canned fruit.

They have canned pumpkin at Trader Joe's again: $1.99/can.
