Psych! Stamford CRUMBS Open Right Now!

My friend said her Mom just called and is there. ALERT: My friend's Mom did NOT get free cupcakes, but she got free coffee. What the heck? This company got us worked up for free cupcakes and that was just a tease? Rrrrr. Oh well. Don't believe the hype.

I'm booked 'til after dinner tonight, but maybe I'll see if the husband wants to go there for dessert. Although, are cupcakes really for night time? Aren't cupcakes more of a daytime food? Whatever. I'll do it in the name of Stamford Talk.

I just went by there and it did not apear to be open, but in the last stages of get-readyness, with no tables out.

All this excitement over cupcakes?

This town is sad.

OhmygodthatwasthebestcupcakeI'veeverhad!

Yellow cake, chocolate buttercream frosting. The cake was moist and the buttercream was the perfect balance of texture and sweetness.

Thanks for the heads up. My boys and I are in love!

Yum - HB had a pecan pie cupcake and I have a Reese's one (although I didn't finish mine because it was HUGE!). My home grown pics are on my blog....

Got a free cupcake at 8:30 or so this morning. The girl said everyone gets one free cupcake today. Pick any one you want; no purchase necessary.

Never understood the American obsession with cupcakes. Next time you go over the pond, go to an old fashioned English bakery and buy yourself a real jam doughnut or custard tart.

Hear, hear, Bruce! I'd vote for some German stuff . . . can't go wrong there . . .

(To be fair though, I'll give it a try next time I'm on High Ridge Road.)

I went this morning and got a free cupcake - this was at about 8:10. It rocked.

I just came from there a few hours ago I got my free cupcake, they are still giving them out!!! The Caramel Apple cupcake tasted BEAUTIFULLY DIVINE!! And they have pumpkin cupcakes for the this time of year too!! I got one of those for tomorrow! I thought the frosting was going to be too much, but it wasn't they don't make the actual cake very sweet so it was just perfect. They also have yummy lattes :o)

I went there yesterday and we got our free cupcakes! Maybe your friend just had a run of bad luck?
