WHAT Local Biz is Obama Gonna Visit Today?

I have no clue. What ONE local business is worthy of a stop by Obama? Guesses? Umm, Colony Pizza? Ummm, St. Luke's Lifeworks? UBS? RBS?

I need to get a good tip so the baby and I can make a sign that says "We Love Obama"- no- "Kick Butt Barack." Yeah, that's a good message. It expresses my support, rather than unabashed, unconditional love, and encourages him to keep his nose to the grindstone to solve our nation's problems.

If you don't believe I will make a sign, you don't know me at all.

I belive he is having breakfast at Curleys, followed by a visit to the wig shop at 11am, 2pm slot at Jerry Springer show then dinner/beer pong at Hula Hanks. Staying overnight at the Amsterdam Hotel.

I second that! "Hip Hip, Obama, Hip Hip, Obama!"

It's very exciting! His helicopter is landing in the park behind Pitney Bowes World Headquarters in the South End (very close to where I work!). What an honor that would be to meet him.

I heard he's speaking at MIT then coming to Stamford.
So far, my best plan is to go for an early happy hour at Salt Water Grille and spot the copter from the deck.
That's a pretty baby-friendly plan, and not too much of a hassle if I don't end up seeing the Prez.
That also seems easiest for parking... waiting along the route, you'd have to park somewhere downtown and hike it, or take the train like Anne said on the previous post.

So he did visit Eastern Land Management! (...which has an it's/its typo on home page- Streets of Stamford would not be amused). I wonder if I would have been able to glimpse him... nah I doubt I could have found parking right? I think I was actually napping with the baby at that time. He flipped out, then fell asleep hard, so I laid down too!
