Hispanic Heritage Month at the Ferguson

The Ferguson has a decent website that book and culture lovers should check regularly. Not only are there book clubs and film screenings, there are events such as Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept 15-Oct 15) and Italian Culture (end of this month). Highlights of the Hispanic Heritage celebration include a showing of Pan's Labyrinth Thursday the 27th at 6:30 p.m, and a family-oriented program Saturday the 29th at noon at the South End Branch- music, arts, crafts, and a panel discusssion. Oddly, food wasn't mentioned... most cultural events have fun food. Speaking of food, more on that Italian event very soon.
